Scented Jar Candles
For those seeking a convenient, multi-purpose candle, scented jar candles are an excellent choice. Jar candles are those that are poured into a container made from a durable, non-flammable material (usually glass, ceramic, or metal). This allows for easy burning, as the container will catch any wax drippings and is designed to withstand the heat of the candle’s flame. Since they don’t require a special candleholder, jar candles can be a much more economical choice for those shopping on a budget. Scented jar candles can be easily ported from room to room, and can even be used safely outdoors in covered areas protected from rain and wind.
Any candle type consists of the same main components: wax, a wick, and, for rich scented candles, essential aromatic oils. Most of the candles we offer are still created using an age-old method of inserting a cotton wick into a specially formulated wax that has been blended with a pre-measured amount of fragrance. Once the wick is in place, the wax is carefully molded into the desired formation. With jar candles, the wax adheres to the shape and size of the container being used, so not as much manipulation is required.
